Olive oil questions and answers

About our oil, our grove, and getting it to your table.

What makes your olive oil different?

Every drop is grown, picked, and pressed by our own family on a single estate in the Peloponnese — cold-extracted within hours of harvest and never blended with oils of lesser quality.

Is it really single-estate?

Yes. Unlike most commercial oils, ours is not intermingled. It comes from our grove and the neighbouring groves we tend and distribute for — fully traceable to the harvest.

How should I store it, and how long does it keep?

Keep it away from heat and light, sealed tight. For the brightest flavour use it within 12–18 months of the harvest date printed on each tin.

How fresh is the oil when it ships?

We import in small lots and ship from New York, so your oil is never sitting in a warehouse. Most orders leave within two business days.

Do you offer subscriptions?

Yes. A 3-litre Gis Ergon tin every two months for $74, shipping included. Our 5-litre plan is paused while the 5-litre tin is sold out. Skip or cancel any time by emailing us before your next delivery. See the Subscribe page.

What is your shipping & returns policy?

Tins ship by ground in 3–5 business days, charged at checkout: $25 for 1–2 tins, $50 for 3–6 and $90 for 7–12, to the US and Canada. Kouzina frying oil ships free, and the Kitchen Pair (a 3-litre tin and a Kouzina bottle, $94.99) includes shipping. If anything arrives less than perfect, email us and we will make it right.

Can I buy wholesale for my restaurant or shop?

Absolutely. Open a wholesale account for case pricing on our 5L tins and our partner estates — see the Wholesale page to request a quote.
